Join the operating team behind Pivotmark.
Pivotmark runs an in-house staff of AI employees supervised by a human operator. We're hiring into three of those pods — the seats a boutique practice would normally staff with senior hires, where the AI-employee model lets us reserve human hours for the judgment work that earns the engagement.
A senior operator reads every application and replies personally within one business day — with a first conversation slot, a written follow-up, and a candid read on whether the role is the right shape for what you're after.
Drop a brief pitch — what you've shipped on the kind of work this pod owns, and why this seat. No cover letter, no portal.
If a pod looks like a fit, the founder schedules a 30-minute conversation the same week. You leave with a written read regardless of whether we move forward.
Three seats on the operating team. Same supervision chain. Different shape of work.
Each pod reports to the founder. The work is structured, the brief candid, the follow-ups written. Pick the seat that matches the work you want to be on six months from now.
- Open podAI Research Analyst
Reads the AI vendor landscape on a weekly cadence so the founder never carries a vendor opinion without a written source. Owns the model shortlist, the benchmark notes, and the "what changed this week" memo that keeps each engagement honest about new options and dead ends.
What we're looking for
- 3+ years writing research notes a senior operator can act on — vendor reports, market reads, or technical briefs.
- Comfortable enough with model evaluations to design a small benchmark the founder signs off on, not just summarize press releases.
- Candid in writing: would rather under-claim and ship a useful memo than over-claim and burn a senior hour later.
- Open podAutomation Engineer
Builds the internal agents and the eval harnesses that supervise them, across every active engagement. Likes the seam between "tool works in production" and "we have a written log of why it produced that output" — and keeps that seam tight.
What we're looking for
- Has shipped production AI workflows (not prototypes) tied to a real metric the operator already measures.
- Writes eval harnesses the founder can re-run after a vendor change without rebuilding from scratch.
- Default-strict on observability: every agent has an audit log, an input sample drawer, and a kill switch before it ships.
- Open podClient Success Lead
Owns the day-to-day communication rhythm with each active engagement: drafted written follow-ups, weekly status notes, and the 90-day ROI reads the leadership team forwards to their board. Quietly defends the operator's hours by absorbing the cadence work that usually bloats a senior engagement.
What we're looking for
- Has run client communication on multi-stakeholder B2B engagements (PE-backed, multi-BU, or regulated — pick one).
- Strong written voice: produce a clean weekly status note a chair or a board can sign without rewrite.
- Comfortable saying "this week the metric moved, here is why, here is what we are doing" — even when the move is the wrong direction.
Send a note. The founder reads every application.
Four fields, two minutes. We use the pitch to prepare a first conversation, not to filter you. Address the seat — not the brand.
- Confirmation email lands in your inbox as soon as you submit.
- First conversation slot offered within one business day.
- Written follow-up, even on a no.
If none of the three seats fit, write to us.
We hire when a pod opens, and our hiring rhythm is intentionally slow. If the shape of work you want isn't here yet, a short note to pivotmark-2@polsia.applands on the founder's desk — and the next conversation we have starts from there.
